Waybiller has predefined user roles, each with specific rights and permissions.
When adding a new employee, you must assign them the appropriate role based on their responsibilities. The available roles are: Manager, Loader operator, Dispatcher, Driver, Project manager, Object manager, Receiver.
Manager
Can perform all actions:
- Create and manage orders and transport orders
- Create and manage origins and destinations
- Create and manage employees
- Create and manage vehicles
- Create and manage warehouses
- Create, confirm and cancel waybills
- Fill in additional waybill fields and assign warehouses

Remove waybill confirmations and modify some fields (confirmation can be revoken if the right is granted)

Edit company data, including restrictions and permissions
- Edit worklogs created under your company's name

Perform weighing at truck scale locations and view the weighing log

Create report templates and download reports

Configure email notifications
Note: When assigning a user with the Manager role, you can also grant them the right to log time and remove waybill confirmations.
Loader operator
Can select predefined actions and create waybills based on existing orders. See also: "Loader operator".

Create waybills — if the loader’s scale is integrated with Waybiller, the weight of the load is automatically added to the waybill

Dispatcher
Can create waybills from an assigned origin and perform vehicle weighing if a scale is connected.
Driver
A key role in the creation, processing, and confirmation of waybills. The Driver role can:

Create waybills (from scratch or based on a transport order)

See and start work with the waybills prepared for them in advance (e.g. by a loader operator)

Update the status of waybills during transport

Perform weighing at scale-integrated locations

View and comment on waybills

Confirm waybills (if permissions are granted at the destination)
NOTE: When assigning the Driver role, the following additional options become available:
- Employee is allowed to create new destinations
- This driver has an accepted amount field prefilled
- This driver is allowed to create new origins
- This driver is added to all (including future) destinations
- This driver is a subcontractor - the company for which the driver is actually an employee must also be added. See article: "How to configure subcontracting".
NOTE: The default is to select the options "This driver has an accepted amount field prefilled" and "This driver is added to all (including future) destinations".
Project Manager
Can perform Manager level actions, but only sees waybills related to the destination assigned to them, the Project Manager can:
- View waybills that have arrived at assigned destinations
- Confirm and cancel those waybills
- Add users with the Object manager role
NOTE: When assigning the Project Manager role, the user must be linked to specific destinations. This role can also be granted permission to remove waybill confirmations.
Object Manager
Can perform Manager level actions, but only sees waybills related to the destination assigned to them, the Object Manager can:
- View waybills that have arrived at assigned destinations
- Confirm and cancel those waybills
- Add users with the Object Manager role
NOTE: The Object Manager must be assigned to specific destinations. The role can also be granted permission to remove waybill confirmations.
Receiver
Has limited access. In addition to receiving loads, this role can also be used for dispatching them.

NOTE: The Receiver must be assigned to the destinations they manage. The role can also be given the right to remove confirmations from waybills.
