General contractor-subcontractor
-
The subcontractor adds their driver to their list of employees using the driver's email address (registers an account for the driver under Employees menu item).
-
- The driver can now see and select all vehicles added under the company.
-
- Subcontractor's driver’s information is sent to the general contractor:
-
- Driver's company name
- The driver's email address which was used to add them as an employee under their company in Waybiller
- Vehicle number of the vehicle to be used for the transport
-
-
The general contractor adds the subcontractor's driver to their list of employees (registers the driver as a subcontractor under Employees menu item). It is important to use the same email address that the driver is registered with under their company in Waybiller!
-
- When adding a driver, tick the box "This driver is a subcontractor".
- NOTE: Add ticks to the standard options as well: "This driver has an accepted amount field prefilled" and " This driver is added to all (including future) destinations".
- A window will then appear where you need to select the driver's company and, if you wish, the default vehicle (the latter is optional).
- If the correct company is selected, the driver will automatically be shown their company's vehicles when subcontracting.
- When adding a driver, tick the box "This driver is a subcontractor".
-
NOTE: The general contractor does not add the subcontractor's vehicles to their own list of vehicles!
NOTE: If the company is not on the list, please contact our customer support:
support@waybiller.com.
- When logging into Waybiller, the driver will now see several roles - their company role and the roles of the companies they are registered as subcontractors for. The driver has to select the company (role) for which they will carry out the transport.
-
-
- The role can be changed by the driver from the main menu by clicking on "Select role".
-
Both the general contractor and the subcontractor can see the created waybills from their Waybiller account.
The names of both transport companies are displayed on the waybill.
General contractor-expeditor-subcontractor
The same instructions apply as under "General contractor-subcontractor", with the difference that the Expeditor forwards their subcontractor's drivers' information to the General contractor, who then adds the subcontractor's drivers to their employee list using the field "This driver is a subcontractor".
NOTE: The Expeditor must be given separate viewing rights for the necessary waybills (see instructions on "Granting viewing permissions to waybills"). This can be done by the general contractor as well as by the subcontractor if they have the Reports feature activated.
