Creating a vehicle from an order

Vehicles must be added under the company that owns them.

In general, the transport company itself should add the vehicle, but other companies can also add a vehicle under the respective company (unless the transport company has disabled this option in Waybiller).

Adding a vehicle from a transport order:

1. Enter the vehicle number in the “Vehicles” field on the order.

2. Select “Create new vehicle ‘XXX’”.

3. Fill in the fields, and be sure to add the trailer as well

4. Tick the option “Add vehicle under transportation company”

Note! If you do not tick this, the vehicle will only be added to this order (displayed as blue vehicles on the order) and not to the transport company’s list of vehicles.

5. Click “Add new vehicle”.

Note! If the transport company has restricted vehicle management to themselves, a notification will be shown, the vehicle cannot be added under their company, and you must contact the transport company directly.
