Creating an origin that belongs to your company.
When creating an origin, select the first option: "Create new YOUR BUSINESS NAME (registration code ...) origin".
NOTE! Origins that belong to your company are displayed first in the list of
origins below the Origins menu tab.
If in the list of origins, there is another company name in front of the origin,
that company owns the origin and your company has been granted the rights
to view/use the origin (your company is added as a partner).
Fill in fields:
- Name (required)
The name of the origin can be added in free form, but make sure to start with a capital letter. The name used will be saved to Waybiller, will be used for various operations and will also be displayed on the waybill.
-
Checkboxes:
- Public (selected by default) - If selected, the origin will be visible and accessible to all companies using Waybiller. If this origin is used by the loader operator to generate waybills, the origin must remain private. A public origin helps to avoid duplicates.
- Active (selected by default) - If selected, the origin will be visible to all users in your company and also to your partner companies. By default, all origins are active when creating.
- Address (required)
Enter the address or the exact coordinates of the origin. The red icon on the map can be moved to further pinpoint the location. Adding the exact location on the map will help to calculate kilometres and drivers can use the information for navigation.
NOTE: When entering coordinates, use comma format, e.g. "58.68512 , 24.50410" or "58.68512,24.50410".
-
Related parties:
- Partners - If the origin is not public, only partners who are added here will see it. Search for a partner by typing in the name of the company. If the loader operator creates the waybills from this origin, do not add partners here.
- Companies with viewing rights - It is possible to give another company a right to view the waybills, transport orders and orders related to this origin.
- Loader operators - If there are loaders in use at the origin and loader operators are creating waybills, then the loader operators have to be added here to give them the right to select this origin and create a waybill from this origin.
- Loaders - If there are loaders in use at the origin and loader operators are creating waybills, loaders must be added here to be selectable by the loader operators in this origin.
-
Details:
- Assortments - Select the assortments that can be transported from this origin. If all assortments can be transported, you can leave it blank.
Assortments, their subsets and fractions are only added by Waybiller as this avoids creating duplicates.
If you can't find the needed assortment from the list, please let us know:
support@waybiller.com, phone 606 8120
-
Representative data:
- Representative name
- Representative phone
The representative's data may be necessary for the transportation company and the drivers. The data will also be displayed on the waybill.
-
Extra information:
- Holding base type - These fields can be used for roundwood and woodchip loads. See also the article "Holding base".
-
Cadaster number - This field needs to be filled in by woodchip suppliers, the requirement for a cadastral number to be mandatory can be configured for specific assortments. When a cadastral number is entered, it is checked from the Forestry Portal if the entered cadastral number exists and a VEP check is carried out (icons: check ok =
and restrictions found =
)
- NOTE: the driver can also add the cadaster number to the waybill (the driver has a separate field "Cadaster number" in his "Insert amounts" view).
-
Extra information for drivers - Add free-form information for the driver at the origin. The information added to the origin will be displayed under the Transport Orders menu item on the transport order associated with that origin (icon displayed
). Extra information will not be displayed on the waybill.
- Extra information to waybills - Add extra information about the origin you want to display on the waybills.
- Additional fields
Under additional fields, it is possible to configure origin related restrictions (e.g. for drivers and receivers) and to set up sending waybills to email addresses. Additional fields can be found at the bottom of the page, at the end of the Extra information section, by clicking on the "Show additional fields" button.
See the articles “Additional options for origin” and "Setting up email notifications".
Confirm the creation of the origin with the "Save" button.
Editing
Origins can be edited/updated by using the "Edit" button behind the origin.
If the origin is no longer in use, clear the "Active" checkbox and the origin will no longer be visible for others in Waybiller (can still be found for you under the Origins menu tab under the Inactive section).
